These terms apply when you buy digital music downloads from backroompuppets.com. The website and its sales are operated by MBC Music. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. What you’re buying

You’re buying a digital download of music by Backroom Puppets, in the format stated on the product page (for example, MP3 320 kbps or WAV). You aren’t buying a physical product, and you aren’t buying ownership of the music or its copyright.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any VAT that applies. Payment is taken securely at checkout by our payment providers. We don’t see or store your card details.

3. Delivery

Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll get a download link on screen and by email. Download links will expire after 24 hours, so please save your files somewhere safe. If you have trouble downloading, contact us and we’ll help.

4. Your right to cancel

Under UK consumer law, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital downloads, that right ends once the download starts, provided you’ve agreed to that. By completing your purchase, you agree to immediate access to the download and accept that you lose your right to cancel once the download begins.

5. Faulty files

If a file is faulty, corrupted, incomplete or not as described, contact us within 30 days of purchase. We’ll fix it, replace it or give you a refund. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

6. How you can use the music

When you buy a download, we give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to:

  • listen to the music on your own devices, and

  • play it as part of a DJ set. The venue or event is responsible for any public performance licences, such as PRS for Music or PPL.

You may not:

  • copy, share, resell, upload or distribute the files to anyone else

  • use the music in videos, films, adverts, games, podcasts or other productions without our written permission

  • claim the music as your own, or remix and release it without permission

  • use the music, lyrics or artwork to train or develop artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems.

All music, lyrics, artwork and the Backroom Puppets name and characters remain the property of MBC Music and its creators.

7. Liability

We take care to make sure our files are safe and work as described. We aren’t responsible for loss or damage caused by your device, software or internet connection, or by using the files in a way these terms don’t allow. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited.

8. Privacy

We only use your personal details to process your order and provide support.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
